You know, there's a bunch of stuff I want to upload. A TON of stuff. A buttload, if you will. And since my forte is traditional art, all my stuff needs to be scanned first, in order to get up here. But you know what? The scanner that I so adored I now hate because of Linux. Now, it's not really the scanner's fault, but I've never been good at not shooting the messenger. I have to use stupid Xsane to scan things now. None of my scans ever come out right now. The quality is too high, too low, the colors are messed up, etc. When we had Windows on our comp, it was so easy to scan on one program, then crop and color edit on another program. Simple. User Friendly. I would then save my pictures to an easily accessible folder. Now, I save something, and I never find it again. I might as well just find a friend who has a scanner and is willing to let me scan at their house...
